It has been too long and I am not sure where the time has gone this semester. Here is a recap before I get to the good stuff. I have been busy working at the studio, teaching art classes and occasionally creating fruit baskets at Edible Arrangements. Texas Tech hosted a wood fired symposium in February. I got to catch up with old friends and host a girl from Missouri. I had two cups that were in the symposium show at the downtown Texas Tech gallery in Lubbock and now the show has moved to WTAMU in Canyon. So if you are in Canyon check it out in the gallery at Mary Moody until April 26th (I do believe)! I have been with and without a car in the past few months. Which is always fun to deal with. NCECA (National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts) Convention was held in Seattle Washington this year and that is where the adventure begins! I am still playing catch up on sleep almost three days later! Check back for the stories and pictures from our two week long road trip to the west coast and back to Texas!

the not so starving artist blog:Here's the deal... I am an artist and I love food! I refuse to be labeled or included in the "starving artist" category. Now, while I have been broke... I want to be an artist and eat my cake too (metaphorically and literally!) Archives
